Awake Travel is a travel agency based in Bogotá, Colombia that specializes in nature travel. They offer a variety of trips to different parts of Colombia, all of which focus on sustainable tourism and conservation. Awake Travel is committed to protecting the natural environment, and they work with local communities to ensure that their trips have a positive impact.
I worked as a product designer and instructional designer on the AWAKE TRAVEL eLearning environment. I led the design of the user interface and user experience, creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to ensure that the environment was easy to use and navigate. I also collaborated with the instructional designer to ensure that the content was presented in a clear and engaging way.
I developed the learning objectives for the environment, created the content, including text, images, and videos, and designed the assessments to ensure that learners were able to demonstrate their mastery of the content. I also collaborated with the product designer to ensure that the content was presented in a way that was consistent with the user interface and user experience.
I am proud of the work I did on the AWAKE TRAVEL elearning environment. The environment is easy to use and navigate, and the content is presented in a clear and engaging way. As a result, learners are able to successfully complete the courses and gain the knowledge and skills they need to work in the tourism industry.
